Xeiron
They say I am a myth, but I want you to know that myths have their roots in reality. I am a centaur. Perhaps I was one of the invaders that the ancient Greeks had never seen before, a man on horseback, someone who had ridden for so long that I became what they called me, a creature that was half horse, half man. Therein lies the truth of the matter, but what I am now is a combination of history and myth. This is my story, passed on from generation to generation to wide-eyed-listeners around the smoldering embers of late-night fires. My parents, brothers, sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles were the golden gods of antiquity.
May my life inspire you, make you cry, help you not give up, even in the face of complete loss. As long as you can breathe, as long as you have consciousness, you can do what is right. You can help another creature and make the world a little better than it was before you got there.
